What We Offer:
Chiropractic Care with Dr. Carol Reynolds

Since 1995

Adjustment of the body's joints has been used in health care for centuries and is at the center of modern chiropractic care.

Adjustment helps to relieve pain and restore normal function to the spine, joints and supporting structures of the body.

Chiropractors are also trained to prescribe therapeutic exercise, provide nutritional counselling and recommend rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies.

Techniques:

  • Logan Basic Chiropractic

    • A non-force technique taught by Logan Chiropractic College utilizing a soft steady pressure on ligaments around the tail bone for release of tension and vetebral mis-alignments in the lower back.

  • Thompson Technique

    • A specific technique for adjustment of the full spine on a special table which has a sligh drop in the cushions to improve the effectiveness of the adjustment without as much force into the patient.

  • Activator Technique

    • The activator is a small handheld spring-loaded instrument which delivers a small impulse to the spine. The activator is used to produce enough force to move the vertebrae but not enough to cause injury.

  • Trigger Point

    • Is a therapy used to release tight areas within muscles that casue pain in other areas.

  • Nimmo

    • A tequnique used to cause relaxation of the muscles by applying deep pressure into certain joints and muscles along the spine and into the musculo skeletal system. It is similar to trigger-point therapy.

  • Cold Laser

    • When the body has an injury the cells are damaged and fail to function within normal parameters. Low level lasers penetrate deeply into the skin and work by restoring this abnormal cellular function. Physiologic effects include improved metabolism, circulation and tissue healing.
